Bellingen is a wonderful historic display case of NSW…
Bellingen is a wonderful historic display case of NSW country town architecture. It also has an amazing range of shops and things that other towns have bits of – Bellingen’s got the lot. Shop people and shoppers not actually discourteous but not friendly. Still, it was a Monday morning. Overall, a delightful place that could be made more delightful by getting rid of that mainroad traffic through the town. It detracts from the ambience.

The town itself is quite quirky.
The town itself is quite quirky. There are a few very good eateries in town also. There are numerous amazing surrounding areas that you can travel around and explore. The country around Bellingen is absolutely gorgeous.

Loved the town.
Loved the town. Great array of shops and goods. Fantastic coffee and food at H&S Cafe. Surrounding area is also fantastic – from Dorrigo rain forest to the Promised Land to Urunga board walk.

Very interesting, interesting quaint shops , surrounded by amazing nature. The drive to The Promised Land was worth it, as was the waterfalls scenery up to Dorrigo. There’s an old department store in town that’s not to be missed.

Cosmopolitan, rural, relaxed, and busy on a long weekend.
Cosmopolitan, rural, relaxed, and busy on a long weekend. Easy to walk to op shops, river, library, cafes, some retail clothing outlets, supermarket, alternative and arty stores, as well as massage and beauty options. Good base from which to see other nice scenic locations like Dorrigo for bushwalking or the coast.

Only stayed 1 night in the tree house so limited comments But! Advised to walk to town. About a 15 min walk but wonderful Down the hill and across a lovely Bridge over a swiftly flowing wide river. Kids jumping from bridges Dogs chasing sticks into the water and a wonderfully family vibe Then up the small hill to the town Main Street Being Anzac Day limited availability for a nosh but then discover the Tish Faco. Find it and do it in their happy hour. Mexican has never been this much fun.

9.6Exceptional · 246 reviewsThe hospitality on arrival from Wendy was outstanding. She made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. We made a small error on booking which she had anticipated and rectified with no fuss. Breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. Seating for breakfast was on the verandah with a beautifully laid table. The house is stocked with family games if you need them. Her tea cup collection has to be seen to be believed. This accommodation is second to none anywhere in Australia. We loved it.MatthewAustralia

From 446.53 zł per night7.7Good · 628 reviewsVery convenient location. Room was spacious and clean although not very modern. Comfortable bed and effective quiet air conditioner. Biggest shower recess imaginable. The DIY continental breakfast in the room was fine and the toaster was a bonus for bread I had with me. Rooms are separated from the hotel and are quiet. The food in the pub is fantastic! Smoked duck breast salad and the vegetable risotto were superb!JennyAustralia

From 354.60 zł per night8.3Very Good · 50 reviewsAndrew was an amazing host! The room is well equipped, clean, well sized and sits in a nice part of Bellingen with lots of nature around 🙂 It is very private with its own entry. The only time you need to come out of the room is to use the shared bathroom and the bathroom access feels quite private! Andrew has provided all the local details and tips to ensure you know your way around the town.CindyAustralia

9.5Exceptional · 109 reviewsLarge studio, more like a 1-bedroom apartment, spotless and well decorated. Good communication from the owner Jess before arrival. The air con is also a heater so it was not cold at night. The bed was comfy with extra blankets available. I would definitely go back next time I stop in Bellingen.MaxAustralia

9.1Wonderful · 17 reviewsI loved the Palm Springs theme, it was a nice change from the aesthetic of your typical short-stay rental. The property is located moments off the main street of Bellingen, nice and private. The couch was comfortable and the TV is enormous, perfect for a movie night on the couch.RyanAustralia

From 446.53 zł per night7.7Good · 628 reviewsWell located near centre of town. Access is generally through the bar. Currently there are major works underway but this did not impact our trip. We have stayed here a few times…it’s reliable and cheap by Bellingen standards.ChittenAustralia
